More or less Convenient,
I’ve kept this basic little multitool on my keyring since i bought it some time ago. I currently own 3 multitools, this being the smallest and simplest. It has no locking device but nothing particularly dangerous to have slide around (like a knife) and after multiple uses the hinges are noticeably looser but still hold it together in form without any significant force being put upon them. The range of sizes in screwdrivers without having to carry anything more than a couple ounces in weight around is the only legitimate reason to own this, and it’s convenience has made it good enough for four stars in my book.

|Everyone should have one of these!,
How many times have you needed a small screwdriver or hex wrench (or pliers to grip and pull something) only to be frustrated when one was not conveniently handy? This gizmo actually folds into a form factor that is about the size of a key chain fob and is always with you if you put it on yout key chain.
In truth, this is not going to replace normal size tools for most applications because, for one thing, the size after it has been unfolded in working configuration will not give you the leverage for anything but a light task. But that covers a lot of daily tasks when you need a tool that can tighten a loose bolt or set screw, or remove one for whatever reason.
Mine has come in handy on a number of occasions. I am a drummer and if you look closely at a typical drum kit there are stands, pedals and other things that come loose due to constantly setting up, tearing down and transporting the hardware. I carry regular tools with me in case something needs to be repaired, but often this tool will do the job, saving me a trip to my hardware bag. And, of course, some of the repairs I make with this miniature tool are temporary quick fixes that I properly correct later.
The example I cited is one of many uses this tool has. It is truly one of the handiest devices you can put on a key chain – just be aware of the limitations I cited because it is for quick fixes and emergencies and will not take the place of professional tools for long term repairs.
