The prettiest black watch I have ever owned. The finish makes the watch. I receive compliments every where I go. Goes nicely with a suit or in the evening. Scratches a little around the face, but doesn’t show. Maintains its luster. Always looks sharp!

Years ago, I saw this watch in a watch store, and very much liked it. But I already had a good watch and couldn’t justify the expense, so I let it go. Fast forward 3 years, and my watch was wearing out and falling apart. Time to replace it. I remembered this watch and began looking for it. It was no longer being carried in stores. So I started hunting on Amazon. After looking at over 800 watches, I was delighted to find it. I showed it to my husband, who suggested we get it for my Anniversary present. ( I was a nice wife and even ordered it gift-wrapped for him. By the way, the merchant did a fabulous job gift wrapping it)
I have been delighted with this watch. It has been perfect for every occasion – either for every day use or dressier occasions. The finish on it is so unique it stands out, but is still such a classic, elegant piece. It stands up to hard use, and still looks terrific. Even my mother says it’s the one watch she has seen that she likes better than her own!

I looked around for a few days for a watch for my girlfriend for Xmas. She had told me that if I was to buy her one it shouldn’t be too expensive, but I didn’t want to get a cheap looking one as well. After looking at many watches on here I decided to go with the Seiko #SUJA80. It arrived and I was very pleased how beautiful it looked, and even more pleased when she opened it up and her face told the rest of the story. The best part is this watch matches one she got me, so it was almost liked we planned the watches!
